Course Code: 7148O     Duration: 2hrs

Overview

This program is an intermediate level respiratory protection course. It is intended for individuals who have basic knowledge and with qualitative fit testing and will be responsible for conducting qualitative fit testing within their workplace.

The Fit Test Instructor led presentation includes an overview of respiratory personal protection, associated legislation and qualitative fit testing information, step by step video instructions of a qualitative fit test.

Participants will have the option of following up with a trainer to conduct a qualitative fit test virtually to allow the trainer to provide feedback through virtual observation. You will need to have or purchase a 3M FT-30 (Bitrex) or 3M FT-10 (Saccharin) for the virtual observation follow-up.

All participants receive an email afterwards with supporting documents such as pdf of workshop presentation, donning and doffing instructions, qualitative fit testing instructions and examples of fit testing documentation.

A Certificate of Attendance is provided upon completion of the workshop. A certificate of attendance will not be provided until a completed quiz is provided to the trainer.

Due to the virtual format of this course and not providing the hands-on practice portion, the participants are encouraged to contact their trainer and conduct a virtual fit test while the trainer is observing and providing feedback.
