Overview

In this half day program, participants learn the importance of securing objects when working at heights. The course is evenly split between classroom theory and hands on application. The course includes both practical assessment and a theory test.

Features

The scope of the program covers the risks associated with dropped / falling objects, methods of mitigating risk, prevention options for securing tools and equipment, and the 5S workplace organization methodology as it relates to dropped object prevention.

In order to attend the virtual course, you will need to have the following minimum items for each participant:
  • Quick Spin Anchor
  • Cinches (with and without wing)
  • D-rings with QuickWrap
  • 2 connectors (i.e. coil, bungee, straight web)
  • 2 small tools (pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.)
  • 2 larger tools (drill, handsaw, crowbar, etc)
After registration, you will be couriered a student workbook. You must have your student workbook in order to attend the virtual course
  • A Laptop or Desktop computer with webcam, speakers and mic is required to attend the virtual course
  • You will receive an invite to join a Teams call for the date and time you register
  • We highly recommend an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps for each individual connected to the network
